How can I work from home PC taking outsourcing assignments?

In my previous question I was suggested to look for supervisor's job in BPO firms or take up outsourcing assignments. My question is: 1) What are the infrastructure necessary for starting outsourcing works from home? 2) Is it possible to do on my own or do I need to employ extra personeel? 3) What are the jobs available for taking outsourcing works and from where can I source them? Please guide me in this regard.
